I received my bachelor’s degree in social work from Winston-Salem State University in 2015 and my master’s degree in social work from Johnson C. Smith University in 2019. I have been practicing as a social worker since 2015 and working with diverse populations that has included substance abuse, physical health, child abuse and neglect, early childhood, public health, residential mental health, acute illnesses, non-profit and community social work, and the aging population. I have a strong interest in working with adolescents and young adults, specifically young girls, and women. I am qualified and trained to work with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use. I have received training to use the following treatment modalities: CBT, DBT, Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and TF-CBT. I have provided therapeutic services in the following forms: individual, group, and family. My passion for mental wellness and recovery stems from my own personal battles, and I now dedicate myself to helping others through their journey.
